Good luck Lopez!
So I turn on my trusty iBook this morning and I see an e-mail pop-up on there. This is always a pleasant surprise becuase I rarely get any meaningful e-mail (mainly becuase OS X’s Mail.app has a very nice spam blocker). This e-mail was even more surprising becuase it was from the “comments” link on this very site. It was from my old college roommate and current resident of Iraq, John Lopez. I did not however know that he was in Iraq, but he soon informed me in his usual “Lopez-like” fashion:
Sup, tis Lopez from old Truman days…Oh yeah, did I mention I’m in Iraq? I’m stationed over here with the army and am going to be here a year.
It was good to hear from him, and hopefully I can get in contact with him soon, becuase he didn’t get to talk much in this email. I hope Lopez and everyone over there will be healthy for as long as they are over there protecting life so I can be sitting around here looking for work.
However, there is something else hidden in this contact that should be noted: This might very well be the first time Hell Yeah Bitch! .com has been viewed in Iraq. Maybe it will spread over there, and when our troops finally return, Hell Yeah Bitch! .com will take off and finally land on its rightful place, and claim the internet throne! …or not. Whatever.
