Oh yes. Its true. David Hasselhoff, a musical god in Germany, has recently decided to try his hand at a hip-hop career. Not only that, but he has gotten the approval of one of the most hard-core rappers ever, Ice-T, who is producing the record. Yeah, I know…I can’t expain it either. I don’t know if Ice-T is honestly a Hasselhoff fan or he has just been on the set of Law and Order for too long and has lost his edge. Either way, this will be fun to see how this turns out.
GANGSTA pioneer ICE-T aims to turn DAVID HASSELHOFF into a rap star — by producing the ex-Baywatch actor’s first hip hop album.
Ice who paved the way for 50 CENT and EMINEM, told me: “The man is a legend. We are going to show a whole new side of him.”
The unlikely lads are near neighbours in Los Angeles and have struck up a close friendship.
Ice is convinced medallion-man Hasselhoff can take on the biggest names in rap. He said from a New York hotel: “He’s gonna come out as Hassle The Hoff.
“The Hoff will surprise people with his rap skills and humour.”
All I can think about is Hasselhoff with a backwards hat on with a big gold chain with a clock on it…or like Warren Beatty on Bulworth.
