Even though my internet connection problems with my iBook are still continuing, I will start regular news posting again after 2 weeks of spotty coverage.

I’m sure you have heard by now, but former President Ragan died yesterday at the ripe ole age of 93.

Meanwhile, back on the tech side of things…the evil empire (RIAA and the Record Labels) have decided to try out technology that will limit the number of copies that you can make with a CD you purchase. Luckily for us, even though they try hard to screw us over the RIAA usually does this type of thing so poorly that there will be a work-around the day after it comes out.

There is an excellent article in the New York Times by David Pouge about how he feels on the loss of TechTV. I couldn’t agree more with him.

Sony has stopped making their nice Clie PDAs and now CNET is asking the question: “Is The PDA Dead?” …If its not now, it might be close.
