Today was my first day ever at work where I didn’t have to punch a lock or keep track of my time I spent there. Kind of exciting right? A professional Web Designer! Well I decided to celebrate it by asking for a raise!

Ok, I know I sound like an ass now. But the situation is this: I need to move out of my parents house. I can’t take this anymore! After doing a little calculation on how much it will cost to move out to my own place, the amount I’m pulling in right now really isn’t cutting it. I’m not a dumbass though, I just asked for a bit more, just to get me over the hump and allow me to move out without sweating about money all the time.

Trust me, I’m worth it. What my employer should know that if I move out I will be a much happier person, and thusly…an even better worker.

I’ll be sure to let everyone know when and if I get the raise.
