Yeah, the tabbing is a bit off when I added the NOSPAM feature. Not sure why it does that, but when I added the lines to movable type’s cgi script, it just worked that way. I don’t know, maybe that helps in SPAM prevention too.

Cool idea with the cron job. That is slick and I’ll look into that when I get home tonight. After that, and after I get all my apartment (otherwise know as: “Hell Yeah Bitch World Headquarters”) setup, then I’ll play with VPN stuff.

you might want to look into fixing the tab order on your NOSPAM, and also think about implimenting something like this: http://www.expresscomputeronline.com/20020218/technology2.shtml

ie a cron job on your linux page that puts a hit on hellyeahbitch in a password protected directory that records your ip whenever you have an ip change on you linux box…. that way you avoid the 3rd party software that I never seemed to like when I tried those programs

Yup, good ole Google yielded the same results for me. But without having much experience, I’m going to take it slow on my VPN ambitions. On the other hand, I might just have to get that DNS a try tonight to see how that works out.

I've never used it before, but friends have used \ recomended http://www.dyndns.org/services/dyndns/ when you've got a dynamic IP. Has client support for nearly every OS out there. Supposed to be free, but like I said, never used it myself. A google search on 'linux vpn' returned ~2,050,000 hits, so I would say yes, yes there is a vpn client for linux. And like the above, I know nothing about it. I guess this whole comment just goes to show I like to type, wether I know anything or not.
