Mac Mini

Apple has released the Mac Mini (1.24 or 1.4 Ghz 40 / 80 GB HD, USB 2 Firewire) Its very small, and comes with no keyboard or mouse or display.

Still no word on whether one can upgrade to a Superdrive (which would make me very happy)

They also just released the iPod Shuffle and iWork.

Good work Thinksecret.

More on this later.

iWork is the new version of Apple Works, to put it simply. Its a Apple version of a word processor. Although some say it a shot accross the bow of Microsoft Office, I think it is more like Pagemaker. It focuses more on style than Office does, so I really don’t see it as a threat.

And thanks for the heads up Mark. I priced one of these mac minis out and it comes to a little under $800 for what I’m looking for. Thats still a chunck of change, but much more attainable than the 1400+ iMac. I want one, but I’ll wait untill some people get their hands on them and take them apart.

I just wish I could add RAM on my own!
