Oh at least once a day or so if I’m trying to go to update this page or if I’m just checking in on it, I’ll get a nice little “Your connection was refused while trying to contact hellyahbitch.com” message. Not only that but I’ve been told by a few others that they have seen this message aa few times as well and this needs to stop!

Of course when I talk to my hosting service, ReadySetConnect(I refuse to give them a link) they say oh it must be your home ISP. Which is not the case. I’ve been getting that annoying little message at work, at home at my girlfriend’s place…all with 3 different ISPs. That doesn’t even count the places where other people have seen this error too.

Not only that, but judging by some of the deals that I’ve heard other people are getting, makes me think I’m getting ripped off on top of everything. Apparently they give all their good service and deals to Kevin Rose and theBroken. Fu*k you ReadySetConnect, I’m changing hosting providers.

My question to all (and by “all” I mean the ~70 people that come here each day and rarly comment) is where is the best deals out there for a hosting provider?

My requirements:
1. I would like to have them use the CPanel adimistration system, that way I can get up and running ASAP.
2. At least a gig of space.
3. A good amount of transfer (just in case) +/- 50 gigs worth ought to do it.
4. A nice support system is always a plus, and phone support is better.
5. Oh yeah, all the standards: PHP, CGI, mysql, blah blah…
6. Unlimited, or at least a ton of: mysql databases, e-mail addresses, subdomains, parked domains.
7. Free addons domains would be great! (I run 2 domains, and have thoughts of adding another.)

I know thats a lot, but I’m a snoby web developer now, and some poor hosting service needs to apeise me! Can someone out there point me in the right direction to one of the thousands of providers out there?
