Make a Whiteboard Wall
I bet Charlie from Numb3rs doesn’t have a setup like this!
Kevin Kelly @ http://www.kk.org has a nice tutorial up on how to make a whole wall or table or anything into a huge whiteboard. Like seemingly everything in life, there is a cheap way and an expensive way. The expensive way is picking up (or specially ordering) some P3 Ceramicsteel and put that on your wall or whatever. Kelly states that a 4 x 8 sheet cost him about $100. The nice thing about this method is that it can also be used to stick things up with magnets.
Does that sound cool, but you also happen to be poor or a just a cheap bastard? Well then you can run over to Home Depot and pick up a sheet of Solid White Tileboard (alias: Showerboard or Melamine) and stick that to your wall with a $1 tube of tile glue. A 4 x 8 sheet of this stuff only runs you about $13.
This is a very cool idea. Theres something very cool about just being able to jot down a note or work something out on a wall and just being able to wipe it off later…especially for you notorious Note-Takers out there (like me).
