Wireless Mics With No Audio Input
I have a Sony Digital Camcorder. It has no microphone port. I want to use a handheld mic at times and other times have myself wirelessly mic-ed. Anyone have an idea on how to do this? Here’s my idea:
Get a digital voice recorder. Get a (cheaper) wireless mic and a (cheaper) handheld mic. Record audio to the digital recorder and then pair it with the video in post and hope that I can get it to line up right.
Does that sound like the best way to get the desired effect? Getting a new camera is just not an option right now, especially with my recent purchase of a few Cardinal playoff tickets.
