It is a bitch that their system is flawed. As you can guess I'm getting the same problems as you. I've posted the question twice on the WordPress support forums but they seem to be even worse then the Movable Type support forums. And I agree with you, while the WordPress engine is all the rage right now there just seems to be to too much crap involved with moving to it that makes the whole process not worth the pain. Oh well.
