If you were at Prive on New Years Eve and noticed a little something running down your host Avril Lavigne’s face, it wasn’t Lil John’s skeet, she was crying. According to Page Six>


The pop princess was said to be “visibly upset” and clung to her hubby Deryck Whibley, crying “I wanted to do the countdown!” Only when servers brought out Dom Perignon did she calm down. Her reps could not be reached.


What the hell right?!?! That is not how you spell Derrick you Sum 41 piece of crap. And you are ugly. Avril Lavigne isn’t exactly the hottest piece on the planet, but this dude spells his name wrong, plays shitty music and looks like the love child of Steve Buscemi and Sid Vicious.

In other, more related news Avril Lavigne is a little pussy and Lil John is an obnoxious asshole and frankly too old to have “Lil” in his moniker, but is anyone really surprised by any of that? Do you know what is surprising? That Rene Zellweger has yet to reply to my love note I sent her with a locket of my hair, two fluid samples and a drawing I made with red crayon of what I think her privates look like.

Mike Beat Super Mario Galaxy

Super Mario Galaxy

I just got done beating Super Mario Galaxy (obviously for the Wii).  Its been a long time since I’ve really played a game to completion and got to see that lovely ending cutscene and even longer since I’ve enjoyed a game enough to not put it down until its done.

If you are lucky enough to have a Wii and you don’t known Super Mario Galaxy you are missing out on one of the all time great games.

Mike’s New Favorite Band is the Love Grenades

Just the other day I saw this video on Vimeo and the song was amazing:



How great is that?  I’m in love with the Love Grenades.  

I did some research:
  1. Here is their myspace (ugh…) page.
  2. As I understand it they don’t have an EP, or LP
  3. …for that matter I couldn’t find their songs anywhere for download or purchase (yes, purchase!  I want these songs)
  4. Awesome note: on their (her?) myspace page the genre was listed as “Electro/Punk”   That alone makes them kick ass.
Hopefully I will have more info later on because I can’t stop watching this video.  Oh and if you are out there Love Grenades, come to St. Louis!
