Finally I’m back on 802.11b. I had to go back to being tied to the wall with I switched to mac becuase my wireless card wouldn’t work with my iBook, but today I invested some money and get the Airport Extreme card. So now I’m blogging out here on my dock by the lake, a much nicer change from my room. I know that noone really NEEDS wireless networking, but once you have it and you have to go back and not have it, then it sucks. It does take my battery length down to only about 4.5 hours, but still better than most of my friend’s laptops.

On Sunday, everything seemed just like the last week, and the week before that and so forth. Yet by Wednesday (today) it has proved to be very different indeed. First off my little brother is in the hospital for Reactive Arthritis (Reiter’s Syndrome). He should be ok, but weird huh? I mean have you ever heard of someone (at the age of 17) getting that?

Ok. thats one thing. Need more? Ok. Hows about I got my first “real job” interview. It sucked. The guy interviewing me tells me straight up that they do all of “their IT through India”…ok, why do you want to interview me? Anyway, I won’t expect to hear from them. To think, I shaved, and drove down to Clayton all for that crap.

Ok, hows about one more. I’m going to Cuba…Missouri, this weekend. I’m going to be visiting my girlfriend and her family. Anyway thats all for now, but hey I still have 2 more days left…who knows what could happen in that time.

You know what is keeping me going though? Spring Training has offically begun! I can hear the crack of the bat already…

Yup, I’m back…its Valentines Day weekend and I came up to visit my beautiful girlfriend. Yet here I am, once again sitting in here room alone typing into my blog, listening to the White Stripes album “Elephant”. I also worked a bit on the new blog page. I like this better than having to rely on blogger.com for my blogging needs. Not that I really “blog” all that much really, but it is still nice to do it from the comfort of my own webhost.

Oh yeah, my webhost. I’m finally fully switched. It took a little while, and I had a few headaches along the way, but I think I’m better off now than before. Mainly becuase ReadSetConnect gives me a little more space and 15 mySQL databases as opposed to the 1 mySQL db my old host gave me. What does that mean? It means I could then install MovableType on my server and do all the fun things I am doing right now. Yeah. (not really)

The job search is going as slow as ever. I’m really getting discuraged. I want a job and a place of my own so bad it hurts. Oh well…hopefully something will come by soon and untill then, there could be worse situations than sitting around at home….I mean I could be Janet Jackson, that would suck.
