The Sims have gone meta

Everyone knows The Sims, the best-selling game ever, in which you lead your little digital guy or girl, down the road of their little digital life. Along with a seemingly never-ending amount of add-on packs such as Hot Date, and House Party there have also been a number of fan-made plugins. One such plugin from the site Simslice called Slice City takes the art to a whole new level.

…Slice City, lets the Sims in the game play a video game in which they create mini cities. So, along with the many things that Sims can be instructed to do — such as going to work, playing guitar, cooking, socializing and dating — they can blow endless hours creating small urban environments. “The Sims must routinely refurbish the buildings to keep the citizens happy, or just let them deteriorate and force the citizens to become unhappy and move away,” says Alvey. “Happy citizens go to work and pay taxes, which the Sims collect as revenue. The higher the profits, the more attractive the city becomes, so more citizens will move into it.”

Oh thats right…you can now have your sim play Sim City in the game. Try to wrap your head around that one.
