Part of me says, this is weird and stupid, and another says, who cares? …Don’t worry though, I have no plans to insert ads in my Twitter feed, but I did think it was interesting that they thought I could make €52.95 a month on my meager list of followers. If you are one of those people that is really into your followers number being as big as possible, you could be estimated to make a decent amount of money aparently*.

Hell Yeah Bitch! .com takes yet another step into legimacy: We finally made some money. Finally we earned enough money to pull a check from Google! Now the smart thing would be to use this money to pay the majority of next year’s hosting bill. That being said, the idea of cashing in out in to quaters, dumping them in a kiddie pool and swimming in it naked is just as appealing. Decisions decisions.
Would You Run An Ad-Based OS?
So would you? Would you run an ad-based operating system? Maybe the OS would be cheap, or free, and in a bar across the top would run ads that you can’t remove, would you run that on your machine? Everything else worked fine, there were just ads on it. Maybe the ads took the form of a pre-install spyware machine, with the occasional pop-up and a start page you can’t change. Or maybe the ad was a wallpaper that changes every 30 minutes to a new ad. Would that be worth the cost of an OS? According to a leaked memo, Microsoft has at least been exploring the idea.
