Here’s the crazy video of the #1 prospect in all of baseball possibly ruining is career by throwing a bat at the home plate umpire. If Young, the little brother of ex-Cardinal Dimirti Young, plays again this season, he should consider himself very very lucky. This kid was basically drafted out of the womb, given a huge bonus and was basically killing time (and pitchers) in the minor league until the time was right and space was available for him to be moved up to the Devil Rays. Now he has a stain on his career as “that guy who threw a bat at an umpire” forever. Even if he learns from this and comes out a saint, everytime he makes an appearance at a big league park, especially in his first year in The Show, that video will roll on the tv broadcast and everyone will talk about it. The fact remains, Young is still and incredible talent and this will not really have a true effect on his ranking as the #1 future star of the sport, but it will cause some heistation for any one having to deal with him probably for the rest of his career.
